Because your pooch deserves a vacation too

Hi All,

Oscar here.

Even though the recent weather fluctuations (hot then cold, hot then cold), may leave you wondering if summer is in fact here, according to the calendar, its here for at least the next few months.

Everyone knows that aside from summer being a fabulous time if youre a kid, what with summer vacations and all that, its also a great time to take vacations. Whether it be to beat the heat and head someplace cooler, or, to embrace the glorious sun and spend the day lounging on a beach, folks tend to embrace the directive to get out of town with many a trip being planned during this time period.

As getaways are organized, many factors are taken into consideration—everything from kid-friendly locations, to couples escapes, to dog friendly destinations so your beloved furry friend can come along for the ride. Now, planning vactions can be fun and all that, but over here at the PPAC, we know its not always the easiest endeavor to find destinations that fit the bill. Fortunately, the great news is, I recently found out that we have an avid reader who has done all the legwork to help make sure your next trip welcomes you and your pooch!

The folks over at My Bones and Biscuits put together an incredible list of ten, dog friendly national parks that you and your pet can take a trip to this summer (or really at any point in the year!) You should obviously check out their list but you should also have a look at their site in general for tons of other great pet content.

So take a look, go forth, and book those trips, knowing your dog will be able to join you in all the memory-making thats sure to ensue. I mean really, have you ever seen a dog smile so hard as when theyre out, loving nature? I didnt think so.

Til next time,

Oscar
